Flavia Dima

is a film critic, cinema curator, and freelance translator/researcher. Her writing on cinema has appeared in international publications such as Film Comment, MUBI Notebook, Sabzian, Filmmaker Magazine, Reverse Shot, and in local magazines such as Scena9, Matca Literară, FILM MENU, Films in Frame, Acoperișul de Sticlă, and Echinox. She has been an associate curator of BIEFF since 2020 and collaborates with festivals such as ESTE Film Festival and Art200. She has been the curator of the critique section of Revista Strîmbă since 2024. She won the Z9 Wildcard poetry competition at the Zona Nouă festival in 2022. His first poetry volume, ulaanbaatar, was published in 2024 by OMG Publishing and was nominated for the Mihai Eminescu, George Bacovia, and Observator Cultural awards for best debut.
